Dresses, of course. Not just for women to wear in public, but for fashion’s sake as well. They might look slightly different from other women’s clothing, but the sheer, luxurious nature of these dresses, combined with their beautiful patterns and fabrics, were enough to draw women to them.
And just as important, they were fashionable. A good example is a look worn by Florence Harding in the 1920s, known for her colorful and eye-catching dresses.

Ladies Wear in the 1950s
From the 1950s on, women’s fashion began to take the form that we see today. The 1950s also saw women embrace different kinds of cosmetics and colors, which have kept their looks fresh and fresh-looking today.
The 1960s
In the ’60s, women began to experiment with all those things we call clothes. Their hair changed as well, because it started to look fuller and fuller — it became fuller than it ever had before.
The 1960s also saw women who were born between the 1940s and the early ’80s adopt a more formal look, as they were taking it on more often as they got older.
By the 1980s, women were starting to wear less dress and more casual, laid back outfits. They were enjoying the ’80s lifestyle and wanted something a little more like their childhoods — just better!
The 1990s
These days, most women will look nothing like the era of vintage clothing. But, they are keeping the look that they loved, just so they can keep up with the fashion trends and stay stylish. There’s still something about the look of 1960s and 1970s vintage clothing that is really attractive.
