I recently did a post about Etsy seller’s items that cost more than $200. Here’s one item costing $10,000!
What’s the most ridiculous/most unusual item you find?
I love making handmade items.
And here’s a fun one – an old book – it’s from the 1920s for less than $20. There’s no way in Hell I’m charging over $10k for that!
I love to build.
Did you study anything when you were younger?
I have a degree in Art History, also got my bachelor’s in Business Administration. I just finished school next week, so I’ll share that one now.
What would you say is your greatest skill?
Creating the goods I create.
Do you have a lot of free time?
I love spending time with my family and friends. We are active on Facebook and Instagram. We also take time out at the park and have fun with our dogs.
If you could start over right now, what would you change?
I would probably try to invest more time and money in creating and making things (and learning more!) rather than being stressed all the time about it. When I’m stressed, I feel like I’m constantly making things that have a high chance of failure. That keeps me from moving forward and building the things I want in life.
The things that I did get from Etsy were great, but I could have gone a lot farther and done more.
What do you think people can learn from you?
I don’t know, I think it’s impossible to know. I guess I could be trying to prove something to somebody or something in my shop that they didn’t already know.
I would say that if you’re not making stuff you love you might want to stop! When you’re working hard on making something you hope you won’t be satisfied. It might be soooo hard and you may never be satisfied!
I would say that if you put in the effort to learn as much as possible, learn it in your own time, and try not to let it get to you, then you will be able to see your dreams come true.
My dream was to start a business that I never quit. That my customers could come back and continue to buy, even after they’ve gone through some really tough times. I thought I had it figured out
